Doesn't anyone realize that Ellie King was Belinda's best friend in the last movie from the offical book series?

I was trying to figure out who Ellie King was and which family member she is. I thought I remembered the name "Ellie" being used in one of the movies but could not figure out where. Looking back through each movie's cast, I still could not find it.

She isn't a family member though. "Ellie King'' was Belinda's friend in the Last movie of the series before these movies.

I have been beating my head together trying to figure out who Ellie was. I remember the best friend to Belinda but I thought her name was Anna. So, I guess we're supposed to pretend that Clark and Marty had a daughter instead of a son. In the movie Clark had Missy and Marty gave birth to little Aaron named after his dad, her first husband. Later the two had a son of their own. It's confusing trying to add Ellie in there. I wish they would just stick to the story lines. I do love the movies, though.

Okay well I'm going to sound like an idiot but Ellie King isn't Belinda's friend. Her friend's name was Anna. But I just don't know where Ellie King fits in because Clark and Marty never had a girl. They only ever had Missy (Clark's daughter), Aaron (Marty's son), and Arnie (Clark and Marty's son together). The newest movies that they just came up with are prequls to Love Comes Softly, and those fit very well with giving us the back infortmation on where Missy's mother fit in and how she died. But yes, it would be a lot easier if they stuck to the story lines. And I'm surprised that Janette Oke hasn't really said anything about this, because she had a say with the prequl's (Love Begins and Loves Everlasting Courage) Does as she even have a say in this movie? She better because its her story, and her chacacters. I just wish we knew where Ellie King from.

Here's a thought: she couldn't possibly be Arnie's wife and Aaron's sister-in-law, could she? (I've only seen a few of the earlier movies, so I may be missing something.)

Hopefully this movie will explain all this to us!

She couldn't be Arnie's wife because her last name is King and it says she's Aaron's sister. I think they're probably just kind of doing re-writes of it but using some of the names. It has to be different people doing this because the old crew would remember who was who you would think.

You probably have not heard of Ellie because there are many parts of the original book series that did not make it to the movies. In the book series, Marty has a little girl named Elvira "Ellie" in addition to her boys. Although Hallmark chose not to include Ellie in previous Love movies, she is now finally making an appearance, which is going to confuse those not familiar with the books in the series!
