Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! 
Most years it is a huge turkey dinner here for those who can make it home. With our children spread all over the country, it is hard to get everyone together these days but someone is always with us. 
The Friday after (when most go shopping) it is a tradition for our oldest daughter and I to decorate the mantle on the fireplace (living room one) for Christmas. We have such fun and it just seems to kick off the Christmas season for us!

I'll probably put my Christmas tree up the day before Thanksgiving. I'll probably spend the night over at my moms.
I'll have dinner over at my mom's and I don't know how many of my brothers and sisters. I hope to get together with my youngest brother, my older sister and my mom talk about the three of us (my sister, brother and I) taking over most of the cooking for mom. I know she likes to cook, but she's so tired from all the cooking, she can't enjoy the big meal. I would just like to take some of the duties off her hands. She's more than earned the break.

hey, happy after thanksgiving everyone...how did everyone celebrate...
we went over a friend's house...he and his wife served up a whole 6 course dinner...i had to bring some home...but everything was delicious and we had lots of fun...about nine people and my sister in law and mother in law came with us....great time was had by all...

My brother and his wife hosted Thanksgiving this year. There were 13 of us. Everything was delicious!
