I have always loved the "Little House" books and television series. Growing up, I read every book and watched every episode over and over. I guess not much has changed! I still enjoy learning about Laura and other people in history who interest me. I am always looking for the next charming story or movie I can "get lost" in...I like whimisical stories with beautiful scenery and/or magical tales with homey, cozy towns and old-fashioned shops.

I am also a fan of fantasy movies like The Chronicles of Narnia, Princess Bride, Princess Diaries, Matilda, Lemony Snicket, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, to name a few.  I also like to visit locations like the Newport Mansions (Newport, RI) or old lighthouses (especially ones with ghost stories! : ) I love Christmas and movies that take place during Christmas.  The Fall is my favorite season...September and October are the most spectacular months here in the northeast.  The weather is perfect and the trees look amazing...decorating with pumpkins, mums, gourds, and cornstalks ...it's the best! My Fall countdown has begun...; )
