Fall, Winter, and All the Wonderful Things That Go With It!!

I was going to wait till September 1st....but, I can't wait any longer! I wanted to start a thread like the Spring/Summer thread but for Fall and Winter! There seem to be so many of us that love everything about the Fall and all the activities and holidays that are just around the corner....Let's use this thread as a place to share photos of our decorations, talk of special once-a-year recipes, Harvest, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas....I am looking forward to seeing everyone's pictures...from Fall foliage to Christmas trees and hearing of all the fun things everyone does during these two cozy seasons!

Glad to hear you are feeling better, SR52! Flu shots are a dead virus so they can't give you the flu, but you can have a reaction to them. I just got mine last week, too, and as usual my arm was sore and swollen for a few days. I just hope we don't get any kind of sickness that is going around this time of the year. It seems like so many people are sick around here lately.

You have to post a picture of your penquins, SR52. They sound adorable! I love all types of Christmas decorations and ornaments.  Looking forward to getting the house decorated soon. On Thanksgiving weekend, my daughter always comes over and we decorate the mantle on the fireplace in the living room. It is just a fun tradition for the both of us to do together. I am looking forward to that next Saturday!
