I agree with  the movies not being as good as the books, but that is how it is for me for a lot of the movie adaptations. I find books way more enjoyable. You get more encounters with the characters, their thoughts, the description of people,places and things around them.

You also get to use more of your imagination as to how things look, rather than having it displayed on the screen for you. Where you sometimes can't get a connection with them, because you don't know there feeling or thinking.

I don't get why they would show them out of order. It doesn't make sense at all. I think the movie adaptation of "Love Comes Softly" was the best out of them all, because even though it wasn't 100 percent accurate to the book, it was still the most faithful.
